Green Acres School is a progressive pre-kindergarten through 8th grade school in North Bethesda, Maryland, serving 320 students. Founded in 1934, the methods of teaching are based on the research of John Dewey of the University of Chicago and the Swiss developmental psychologist Jean Piaget.
